Lighting Redundancy & Personal Safety

Lighting is one of the most critical aspects of urbex. I always carry multiple light sources.

In addition to my headlamps, I also carry a heavy-duty flashlight in my jacket. This serves as a third light source and can also be used for personal defense if necessary.

I also carry pepper spray, which is legal in my country (Germany) and intended strictly for self-defense. It’s a last-resort item something I hope to never need.
